The colors are great. It went together perfectly with no work required. This stock actually fits me unlike the shorter factory one. Awesome stock!!!

Just what I wanted |

I wanted a cool 10/22 stock that allowed me to keep a factory barrel since I wanted to have sights and a scope. The Evolution is beautiful, and fits me. I looked at stocks with inferior fit and finish for a third more $$, even after the sale price.
I have not had any problem with the stock loosening up, but I do have a Volquartsen allen head action bolt, which allows me to torque the action down tight. I already want to build another one!

10/22 evolution |

the stock comes beautifully finished and mine had no visual flaws there was one flaw that you could feel with the tip of your finger but it was so minor that its almost not worth noting
the pistol grip is shaped perfectly although it can be a bit small for those with larger hands
the take down screw can become loose to vibration but this can be easily fixed by bedding the rifle
overall it is an excellent stock
