The VT stock has two popular features, the large rollover cheekpiece with teardrop grip and hand conforming thumbhole and the heavy semi-flat forend with side cooling vents, which offer both the varmint and target shooters the utmost in stability and comfort for maximum accuracy.
NOTE: The Ruger 77 & 77 MKII are NOT the same gun. Ruger 77 has a safety on the rear of the gun, the 77 MKII has a side safety. For the 77 MKII Action Length Determination, measure the full length of the trigger guard. Short Action = 7 5/8". Long Action = 8 3/8".
