I will have to update this when I receive the stock. Ordered Dec 15 and it is now Feb 15 and still waiting.........max lead time is listed as 6 weeks.....might need to update that statement.
I received the stock in March. WOW!!! Worth EVERY bit of the wait. Have started sanding and it is some of the best looking walnut I have worked with. If I would have thought about it.... a piece of wood this fine for a stock of the length that a 30-40 Krag requires takes a bit more time than the average stock. My apologies for my impatience.
Still believe that something should be indicated that a stock of this length MAY take a bit longer than the 6 weeks indicated.
Thank you for providing me a stock that will be a show piece when completed.
